Holy Guacamole! This is a traditional recipe for guacamole…and is irresistible. Come with your appetite!
2 cloves garlic
4 green onions
1/2 red or white onions, chopped
1-2 serrano chile peppers, roasted, cleaned, and minced
1 tsp salt
Juice from 1 lemon or lime, to taste
Roast tomatoes and chiles on an open flame or in a frying pan. Meanwhile, peel and smash avocados. Add all chopped ingredients and lemon and salt. Mix together. Chop roasted chiles and tomatoes. Add to mixture.
Serve as a dip with tortillas chips or as a condiment with your meal. Healthy and delicioso!
Alternatively, I often make pico de gallo, smash a few avocados, and add a bit of the pico. Instant guac!
