Gifts for Book Lovers

In case you couldn’t tell, I love all things bookish.

All.

Things.

Bookish.

On this page, I’ve gathered together some of my all time favorite bookish things to share with you. If you need a gift for the book lover in your life–or for yourself!–you might find just what you need right here! Some are from Amazon and some are from Etsy. Have fun shopping!

I recently discovered the Ideal Bookshelf website and I’m in love. This wrapping paper…and all the ideal bookshelf stuff. This is a booklover’s paradise site.

This is another bookish gift from Etsy.

The whole poem, Annabel Lee, is on these shoes! Edgar and Annabel Lane from my Book Magic series are named in honor of Poe and his Annabel Lee.

LOVE.

 Annabel Lee

It was many and many a year ago,

In a kingdom by the sea,

That a maiden there lived whom you may know

   By the name of Annabel Lee;

And this maiden she lived with no other thought

Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,

In this kingdom by the sea,

But we loved with a love that was more than love—

   I and my Annabel Lee—

With a love that the wingèd seraphs of Heaven

   Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,

In this kingdom by the sea,

A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling

   My beautiful Annabel Lee;

So that her highborn kinsmen came

And bore her away from me,

To shut her up in a sepulchre

In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in Heaven,

   Went envying her and me—

Yes!—that was the reason (as all men know,

In this kingdom by the sea)

That the wind came out of the cloud by night,

Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love

Of those who were older than we—

Of many far wiser than we—

And neither the angels in Heaven above

Nor the demons down under the sea

Can ever dissever my soul from the soul

   Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;

For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams

   Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;

And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes

   Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;

And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side

Of my darling—my darling—my life and my bride,

In her sepulchre there by the sea—

In her tomb by the sounding sea.

Gotta love this tote!

Life is like a novel with you being both its author and main character.

LOVE

And Pride and Prejudice socks! More Mr. Darcy, please.

We all need our own bookish mask, don’t we?

Stay safe out there.

I got these for when I host book club. They’re just so fun! Scrabble letter tiles and bookish sayings. I keep one on my favorite wine glass at all times. 🙂

Book Wine Glass Charms

And if you’re a Jane Austen lover like I am, these wine glass charms are perfect.

I could go broke getting all my books made into these book cover earrings. I love them so much.

If you have an author friend, this is the perfect thing for her.

I have several ‘bookish’ knick knacks in my office. I don’t need them, but they make me happy.

This beautiful girl reading is one of my favorites. I love the colors, the way she’s sitting, the book she’s holding. All of it.

BOOK SOAP!

Enough said.

Are you a punny book lover?

These coasters are so funny, and a fun conversation starter.

Cheers!

Dog-eared book pages…

NO!!!

I use bookmarks, and these, to me, are just beautiful. They’re bamboo and stunning.

“Drink Tea

Enough said! This bookish tea spoon is always in my tea cup.

I just love these SO much. I don’t ever want to open them because they’re so cool. All the more reason they make a perfect gift. Let someone else be tortured with the “Should I open these?” question!

Literary Tea

I drink hot tea every day. I’d love to receive this as a gift. Novel Teas…each tea bag has a literary quote. So fun!

Can you ever have too many bookish mugs? I think not.

Yes I really do need all these books.

Love.

Tin style cups. LOVE.

Bookmarks are for Quitters. LOVE.

This mug. LOVE.

I love my hot tea, but I also love a glass of wine. This tumbler DOES make me happy. I can take my wine outside without risk of breaking the glass. And the sentiment is perfect.

I haven’t met a journal I don’t like. I am doing the Book Warriors Book Challenge, and this journal is the perfect way for me to keep track of what I read.

Love it!

I love scarves. This one is especially nice because it’s lightweight, so perfect for spring and even summer.

Bookish Scarf

Another bookish scarf. I have this one, too, because I just love anything with books on it! And sometimes, when I’m wearing a dark shirt, I want a light colored scarf.

Bookish Scarf

The perfect combination of my favorite things. If you know a book lover who also adores tea, this tee shirt is the ticket!

I adore anything bookish, especially comfy tee shirts like this one.

My Weekend is all Booked.

Love.

Doesn’t everyone need a bookish throw pillow. I use mine to prop up the book (or my eReader) when I’m on the couch or in bed.

Just one more chapter.

Seriously. Just one more.

Happiness is a cup of coffee and a good book.

Truer words have never been spoken.

Coffee and Book Tote

I love tote bags. I use them for grocery shopping (gotta use reusable bags) and just, well, toting around stuff.

This Kate Spade tote is one of my favorites.
